London This Week: Hello Kitty Pop-Up Cafe & The Book of Mormon

The Hello Kitty mania is not over! A Hello Kitty pop-up cafe has returned to London in Tombo Poké & Matcha Bar from 1 September 2017 to 8 October 2017. Their special Hello Kitty menu includes (but not limited to) Hello Kitty curry rice, Hello Kitty matcha latte, and Hello Kitty cupcake. They also sell a range of Hello Kitty merchandise. Here’s a look inside Tombo’s pop-up in photos:

I love matcha!

To eat or not to eat?

The cafe’s location and the cute Hello Kitty interior have a cool and fun ambiance perfect for matcha lovers and small group of friends. The matcha latte and curry are not the best in London but visiting Tombo Fitzvoria is worth the time and effort for a former Hello Kitty fan like me (in order to satisfy the childhood obsession of Hello Kitty!).

The Book of Mormon is an award-winning West End musical comedy written by Trey Parker, Matt Stone, and Robert Lopez. Parker and Stone are best known for creating South Park. *Spoiler Alert. It follows the story of two young Mormon missionaries who are assigned in Africa to preach and share their scriptures. Warning: The themes, words, and humour may be inappropriate or offensive to some individuals or groups.

I was crying out of laughter during the whole show. The plot, music, and cast were amazing! Among the London musicals I have seen including Aladdin, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, and The Lion King,  The Book of Mormon is my personal favourite. It is hilarious, witty, and thought-provoking!
